
To lead and manage the end-to-end minerals trading function, including sourcing, procurement, pricing, sales, and logistics coordination, ensuring profitability and market competitiveness.
Develop and execute trading strategies for minerals.
Identify and onboard reliable suppliers (local & international).
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms with suppliers and buyers.
Monitor market trends, demand-supply dynamics, and competitor activity.
Manage customer relationships and expand client base.
Coordinate with logistics for timely shipments (import/export documentation, freight, clearance).
Ensure compliance with regulatory and trade policies.
Monitor inventory levels, stock movements, and cost optimization.
Prepare sales forecasts, trading reports, and profitability analysis.
Collaborate with finance for invoicing, payments, and LC (Letter of Credit) handling.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
4–5 years in minerals trading / commodities trading
Strong knowledge of local and international markets
Expertise in negotiation and contract management
Understanding of import/export procedures and documentation
Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools
Hands-on experience with ERP systems
