We are exporting CHROME ORE (Lumpy) from Pakistan since 1973 to China. We are one of the top ten exporters of this commodity exporting 8000- 10000 Metric Tons on monthly basis. The company is running it's CHROME ORE MINES with local partners and the same time procuring from different areas BALUCHISTAN which is the main God Gifted area of Natural Resources in Pakistan.
The company is having its own CHROME ORE Go-down at Hawks-bay, Karachi measuring 200,000 square feet very near to the Karachi Port, having facilities of cleaning, grading, sorting and processing of size material (i.e. washing plant for the preparation of concentrates). Presently Company is engaged in the exports of Metallurgical, Refractory and size material.
Chromite Ore
Chromite is an Iron chromium oxide found naturally in the earth crust. It is by far the most industrially important mineral for the production of metallic chromium, used in the production of Stainless and Tool Steel. It is also used as a refractory material because of its high heat stability. The chromium extracted from chromite is used in Chrome plating & alloying for production of corrosion resistant super alloys. Chromium is also used as a pigment for glass, glazes & paints and as an oxidizing agent for tanning leather.
Application:
Used in high duty grey iron and steel foundries as core and mould making sand, in steel production it is used as a filler, used for production of green glass beverage containers.
